Scanning the Line
In order to find the line profile, we have to scan the line. Here is the procedure.
- point the telescope near your planned observation target
- Position the green box on granulation. Try to get it close to 400x400 in size while avoiding any active regions.
- For red beam interface

- Start cameras and wait until the line scan is complete (on the interface Status will change from Running to off ).
We should now have line profile data, which we can use to determine the line centre, as explained in the next section.
