All data initially goes to store1, which has a RAID disk with a capacity of 5.1TB. This is NFS mounted on the control machines under /data/store1.
store1 is currently configured as RAID5, so has redundancy. However, it is still very important that data is moved to different media each night.
On the red beam, with three Sarnoff cameras running at 37 frames per second, roughly 230Gb of data is produced every hour. So, on a "good" day (e.g. 4 hours of good seeing), you can expect up to 1TB of data from the Sarnoff cameras alone.
On the blue beam, each Megaplus camera (running at approximately 3.5 frames per second) will collect an extra 16Gb per hour per camera.
So, on a good day you should expect 1 - 1.5TB of data from all the cameras (redand blue).
