Telescope Fuse Descriptions and Locations

The various fuses used for the turret hardware are described below.

• Motor Power Located in the TCC, labelled AZ Motor 1 fuse, AZ Motor 2 fuse, EL Motor 1 fuse and EL Motor 2 fuse. Spare fuses can be found in the TCC. Be sure to use the correct rating of 6.3A.
• Motor Brakes Located in the TCC, labelled Brake Fuses Spare fuses can be found in the TCC. Be sure to use the correct rating of 1.6A.
• DA Converters The DAC chasis is located in the corridor between the control room and observations lab. The DAC has 5 power fuses. They are next to the power LEDs mounted on the PCB on the chassis. Spares can be found in the electronics lab, in the light green wood cabinet. The drawer is labelled LITTLE FUSE. Be sure to use the correct rating.
• Main Turret Power 1 Located at the top of the tower on the wall, labelled TELESCOPE MAIN FUSE 1. This is an automatic thermal fuse.
  
• Main Turret Power 2 Located in the electronics lab, labelled TELESCOPE MAIN FUSE 2. This is an automatic thermal fuse
