Daily Acquisition Checklist

This checklist can be used to ensure that all correct steps are followed during observations.

General

1. Close and restart the server program (see 5)

Red Beam

1. Change the date in the common camera config file (see 6.1)
2. Calibrate the SOUP filter (see 6.2)
3. Add new offset(s) to SOUP sequence file (see 6.5)
4. Start imaging (see 5.1)
5. After imaging, perform a system calibration (see 8)
6. If necessary, perform a polarimetry calibration (see 6.7)
7. Repeat from 4

Blue Beam

1. Change the date in the common camera config file (see 6.1)
2. Every 2nd day of observations, perform a rotatable filter calibration (see 7.2)
3. Start imaging (see 5.1)
4. Perform a system calibration at the same time as the red beam (above)
5. Repeat from 3
